For the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, we have been commissioned to take charge of the design and construction for the main scenic spot named Elegant Forest Fountain Falls (Linquan Gaozhi) as a part of the Olympic Forestry Park.

The project consists of a large variety of landscapes, including cavern, mountain stream, waterfall, water hole, piled earth artifi cial mould and pierced stone, as well as natural Taihu-Lake stone, etc..

In the spirit of the blueprint of the natural landscape, we utilized twenty thousand tons (1 M3= 2.6 Ton) of

stones in total, in an attempt to forge landscape amenities for the Olympic athletes and Beijing citizens to exercise the body and mind comprehensively besides the Bird’s Nest (The National Stadium) by Herzog de Meuron.
