Bredden is going to be more than a neighborhood - it's going to be home. Therefore, we want to have the people and the environment in focus - and leave the traffic outside. We draw the basic needs for housing, communications and commerce, and provide space for those things enriching life: beautiful architecture planned so that there is room for movement, meeting and socializing. With targeted areas for smaller local actors to create a dynamic environment for culture and exchange.

Since spring 2016, Funkia has been involved in the urban development process for the new Bredden fd. InfraCity in Upplands-Väsby. In close collaboration with Strategisk Arkitektur and Profi Real Estate, we have developed the structure as well as the design of the streets, squares and parks of the neighborhood. Here, a wide city is created with everything it needs, not least in enriching urban spaces that intertwine the environment with the former office and trade settlement and the new complementary residential and commercial building.

We have developed a green strategy for the district and public places including streets as well as working on Greenland Factor calculations for public landmarks as part of research projects.
