Renovation of a 1960s housing courtyard

A refurbishment/conversion of a 1960s courtyard was required in connection with the need for supplementary insulation of terrace slab.

The design is based on a 1960s right-angled idiom. The yard’s original shape is retained and supplemented with fresh content and features to serve new functions and meet today’s needs. In the proposal we have worked with the line as form element. Lines of different textures retain the simplicity and simultaneously give the year a deeper and more varied impression than previously.
