Projecting and creation of a private garden.

Drawing inspiration from the moors of Scandinavia, from tall Scotch pines and expanses of heather, the design of the garden has been conditioned by its location. The garden is situated on a rocky hill in Stockholm, where the climate is ideally suited to the growing of heather, pine and rhododendrons. Coupled with more exotic varietals and grasses and such small trees as the Amur Maple, these ensure that the drama of autumn and winter and the lushness of spring and summer is heightened. Stone walls of Swedish granite and steps leading to the entrance of the house create a natural elevation of the garden. The garden on the front side of the house transcends into a natural landscape in the back yard and creates a seamless transition between the garden and the surrounding countryside.
