The building was designed in the picturesque area of Czorsztyn, on a slope overviewing the lake.
In reference to traditional architecture of the region, a traditional trisection was kept, with a foundation, a ground floor, and a volume of a pitched roof. Glazed ground floor level consists of a hotel lobby, a conference hall and a restaurant, all with a spectacular view towards the mountains and the lake. Massive twin roofs hold hotel rooms, while the foundation hides recreational facilities.
The main challenge of the project was to keep the notable volume of the building as harmonious with the landscape as possible. Two lower levels overflow the surrounding terrain, whereas the roofs hanged over them are the contemporary interpretation of traditional local architecture.
