Kim Herforth Nielsen
Architect MAA/RIBA, Kim Herforth Nielsen, born 1954, is Founder and Principal of 3XN. Kim Herforth Nielsen graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 1981 and was one of the three Nielsen-founders in 1986. Ever since he has been the driving force behind 3XN, and been involved in all the practice's major projects, including The Blue Planet, Museum of Liverpool, Ørestad College, Muziekgebouw Concert Hall in Amsterdam and the Danish Embassy in Berlin.
Kim Herforth Nielsen is often called upon as a jury member in international architectural competitions and as lecturer at art academies and universities around the world. Kim Herforth Nielsen is a Knight of Dannebrog and has received Denmark's highest architectural honor, the C.F. Hansen Medaille.
Bo Boje Larsen
Architect MAA, Bo Boje Larsen, born 1951, is Partner and CEO with responsibility for strategy and organization. Bo Boje Larsen graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, in 1977. After 10 years with Henning Larsen Architects, Bo Boje Larsen joined 3XN as Partner in 2003.
Bo Boje Larsen has main responsibility for the Project Design at 3XN and his portfolio includes the new KPMG headquarters in Copenhagen, The Bella Sky Hotel, Saxo Bank and Tivoli Concert Hall. Bo Boje Larsen is an experienced board member, including the membership of the 3XN Board and he is an Architectural Assessor at The Architects’ Association of Denmark. He is often called upon as a jury member in international architectural competitions.
Architect MAA, Jan Ammundsen, born 1972, is Partner and Head of 3XNs Competition Department in Copenhagen. He is responsible for idea development and design concepts, and he has been the driving force behind many of the studio's award-winning designs.
Jan Ammundsen graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 2000 and joined 3XN in 2005. As Partner since 2007 Jan Ammundsen’s portfolio includes first prize projects like The Blue Planet, the Arc in Mandal, the Molde Theatre and Jazzhouse, Middelfart Savings Bank, Horsens Stadium, and the Bella Sky Hotel.Jan Ammundsen has been awarded the prestigious "Europe 40 under 40" Award.
Kasper Guldager Jørgensen
Kasper Guldager Jørgensen is an innovator and developer at 3XN. He is partner and Directorof GXN, an internal Innovation Unit established in 2007 to exploit the possibilities that arises applying latest knowledge and technology into design and architecture. In the space of a few years he has become a spokesperson for the shape of future architecture, focusing on new business areas and integration of new materials and green technologies.
Kasper Guldager Jørgensen is a much sought after lecturer at home and abroad and has completed numerous articles and book publications on new possibilities in materials, technology and green architecture.
